Fake Lashes. Real Problems

I attempted to apply the NYX lashes I bought this past weekend from Ulta and I encountered problems galore! People make it seem so easy but it was beyond difficult for me to grasp. Between the glue, trimming the lashes, using my tweezers to apply and keeping a steady hand, I couldn't manage to get them close enough to my lash line. Does anyone out there have experience using fake lashes? Since this was such a major fail I'm glad that the lashes were my "buy 2 get 1 free" item lol...

I have "issues" w/using false eyelashes all the time. I don't know how people make it look so easy, but I usually have globs of glue stuck to my eyelashes, and the lashes stuck to my skin, instead of near the lash line where it is supposed to be! LOL

go to youtube there are many tutorials on applying lashes. also it is best to find a pair that matches the length of your eye without needing to be cut. cutting leaves the lashes looking weird. It's best to buy the drug store brands or red cherry lashes. they are pretty cheap and you can buy different styles until you find the one that works for you. I practiced for about 2 weeks just putting them on, fresh out the package they are a little sticky. once you get used to applying them to your eye glueless it get easy. when you add glue squeeze a little glue out onto a cap top take a toothpick or a safety pin and dip that into the glue on the cap run the toothpick across the lashline hold the lash and let it dry briefly until the glue is tacky/ sticky then apply. i hope this helps.
