Danity Kane is Reuniting (via @TMZ)

Stop each and every solitary press! TMZ just reported that Danity Kane is reuniting and my life force is about to sky rocket into the stratosphere!!! I used to go hard for Danity Kane and even bought both of their albums... and that was a big freaking deal since I had no problem bootlegging everything else (well, not everything lol), but YES!!! Danity Kane is set to return.

I should also note that they're reporting D-Woods isn't returning with the girls, nor is Diddy (wasn't he always the 6th member? lol...) - - but truth be told, Aundrea and Aubrey gave me life... and Dawn's voice was super dope... and Shannon, well she just played her part and didn't bother me. I'd love to see all 5 original members back together, but I'll still buy an album.

I really hope TMZ isn't playing with my emotions because a new album from them would make me entire Summer that much better. I know I'm not alone in this. Who else is excited about them coming back on the scene?

With all of the Danity Kane hoopla going on, the usual motor mouth Aubrey O'Day managed to remain pretty mum on her side of the story. Today she released the following on her Myspace blog:

Aubrey on DK ..............Come one, come all… .... It’s a new year…so as my dear friend Miss Woods says, ‘let’s find something new to talk about!’ My theme this year; let go of the past, and focus on all of the beautiful things that are about to fill our future! I know most of you find that relevant to me in relation to my departure from dear ol’ DK. I’ve stayed away from directly responding or commenting on the negativity, or misguided views and judgments that have unfortunately been the voice of summarizing Danity Kane. But, since I’ve launched a new myspace, and have a new theme of the year… its only fair to finally put my thoughts of DK to rest. .... For those of you who care, Danity Kane was a beautiful experience, filled with all of life’s wonderful ups and downs, and I will forever be blessed to have had that experience with none other than Drea, Dawn, Shan, and D. Each one of those girls is a talent to be reckoned with… and beyond pure talent which I hands down experienced on a daily basis from each girl, each girl really did want to be a role model and change the world in their own little way… and that’s what made us real, what made us the truth, what made us something to believe in, and that inner desire on all of our parts has not changed… you may be seeing expression of emotions succeeding expression of actual reality, but that does not change the reality that ever girl in this group had a dream, and we fought long and hard to see it become reality. There is no rulebook to life, and how to handle your dreams once you get them. We are NOT a sad story of lose, betrayal, and something to teach you what not to do next time… we are a story of courage, determination, fearlessness, and at the end of the day, real emotion. We made not have given the world the answer to how to make different types of women unite as one for eternity… but we wanted to try and that’s more than most do! .... That all said, lets support the future of us all, and forgive the negativity and lost emotions. Life is to be enjoyed and cherished, and experience is something we should all be thankful for, not look at in regret. We all have lost jobs, suffered bad relationships, felt suffocated, unappreciated, sick of giving in, and determined to take a stand whether anyone is behind us or not… SO really, like we always said… we were never any different than anyone else… and we loved that! .... THUS, My first blog! One of many to come, I love you all, stay happy, its all we have! .... Aubrey .... P.S. cop the playboy in stored Feb. 13th, its only partial nudity… and one of the most beautiful works I’ve created thus far! Part of me finally letting it all go! .... P.P.S. I think she did a wonderful job of not addressing anything at all, but I'll commend her for turning over a new leaf and seeming to rise above all the craziness and move forward with her life. Kudos.

I wonder if Puff let her out of her contract or if he is going to still make some cash off of her? Mmmm...

Danity Kane...

After a million seasons of Making the Band, 2 cds, and tons of other stuff Danity Kane is officially over... and everyone's favorite bad girl, Aubrey O'Day is bouncing back by appearing in playboy and releasing a solo album. (blank stare) Now, I was an Aubrey fan from the beginning...before the weave, fake lashes and breathy sex kitten voice (remember that episode when they were singing at that club in NY? She really belted out "At Last"). I bought their cd's and was lured into the girl group gimmick by Diddy. I always thought they were talented and even rejoiced when Shannon started getting more singing opportunities! It's kinda sad that their time is over. I'm not sure how entertaining this new season of MTB will be. I can only take so much of watching the guys (can someone please hide Que's curl juice...I hate a curl on a guy...) and I'm pretty sure Donnie is going to get dropped (wait, Diddy never drops anyone from the label...he just never puts out a cd). Dawn and Aundrea will be the only 2 featured this season (premieres Feb. 12) and it seems like Aundrea will barely be on camera. It's crazy how they (Danity Kane) had so many issues... Yes, Aubrey was skanky at times. Yes, D.Woods always insisted on wearing hideous gymshoes with everything. Yes, Dawn wanted to stay boo'd up 24/7 with Que... I get it .... but I'm gonna miss my little muffs... especially the choreography with Laurie Ann! (Can I get a boom cat?) After years of being force fed Danity Kane, coming to love them, and having them ripped away from me I'm starting to go through the withdrawal process. I may even be shedding virtual tears for them. Shannon is back to living the married life. D. Woods is apparently working on a solo album and can be seen party hopping on YBF from time to time. Dawn is hanging around waiting for Diddy to tell her what her next move should be... and Aundrea, well, who knows what shes doing. Aubrey is on a mission to get back some of her "shine" that she feels was lost while working with Diddy and Danity Kane. I wanna hate her, kinda love her, but will be waiting to see how these 5 chicks rise from the ashes of Danity Kane.
