When news broke of Beyonce and Jay-Z having a $6k "Drunk in Love" shopping spree in a sex shop, it got me to thinking... how does one actually drop $6k in a sex shop?

Just looking at the prices on these items had my eyes bulging out of my head. Yes, this is probably chump change to the Carters, but all I could think about was: 1) buying a vibrator for $4k OR 2) hopping a flight to Thailand and luxuriating for a week or two. Hmmmm... that's an easy decision to make lol.

The pressure to stay looking young in Hollywood is huge.. but there is also pressure for the spouse of any Hollywood A-Lister to look the part. When I recently saw a picture of Denzel and his wife of 30 years, Pauletta Washington, on theybf.com I thought to myself... wait, that can't be here.

Pauletta was looking SNATCHED to the heavens. It's like she went away and got some top notch quality work done. My girlfriend said she looked like she was working out and had new hair, makeup, and clothes... but I'm convinced some very tasteful face work was done.

Whatever she did, Mrs. Washington is looking like the revamped, youthful vixen on the arm of her leading man. I'm not mad at it.

Off to the slammer...

I continue to be baffled by celebs that struggle to grasp the concept of doing dirt in the confines of their home. I'm not a smoker, nor do I make it a habit of popping pills or drinking syrup... but if I did it'd most definitely not be done while cruising the streets of LA.

The other day TI and Tiny were arrested for having weed, X pills and syrup on them and all I can do is shake my head. They're really losing if they think their shit is so hot they won't get caught up. Now all the of the success TI has been making since his release looks like a joke and Tiny, in my eyes, looks like a fool. Usually the woman will be the voice of reason but there she was, assuming the ride or die role, getting cuffed along with her man. They're the epitome of a hood romance. This is when keeping it real, being the ride or die, goes wrong. Stand by your man but have some sense to know when to pull the reigns and keep his ass in the house.

Making matters more comical, she sent out a twitter update thanking folks for their prayers, etc and I'm baffled as to why people are sending out prayers?? She didn't experience a death in the family... she was getting drunk and high in the back of their Maybach and got caught! That warrants the prayers of her fans?? I'm perplexed....

Another celeb showing off how idiotic they can be is Paris Hilton. I think her entire life is a fail right about now... (especially since she basically gave her handbook on how to make something out of nothing to Kim Kardashian and everyone stopped caring about her lol) was busted in Vegas with some coke... and guess what? She told the officer that she thought it was gum! Fucking dummy.... I just think it's hilarious (and kinda sad) that nobody is being the voice of reason and common sense in these people's lives.

I have no pity for celebrities that do idiotic things. It may sound harsh, but I hope both TI and Paris Hilton serve more jail time.

Another one bites the dust...

So, just as I wrote my blog about men cheating, news broke of The Dream frolicking on the beach with his personal assistant... all the while his WIFE, Christina Milian, was at home with their 5 mo old daughter Violet.

Folks are already tired of hearing about it but I wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

While the press release states that they've been separated since late '09 (just 3 months after their marriage - - major o_O for that one) I think it's complete bullshit that The Dream didn't release it until AFTER the photos. Talk about pouring salt into the wound... to be getting it in with your personal assistant... the same assistant that's been around your wife, your home and your child. It's just a bad look altogether!

People, people... when will folks STOP getting married if they have NO intention of actually being faithful. Hell, if you want options don't get married. Marriage is like the anti option, option lol.

This has started bugging me out more recently because I'm married now and I'm tired of seeing folks shit on it left and right. Nobody forces you to get married. If you want to live the playboy single life do that! George Clooney is constantly rotating his line up and nobody is mad at him... but getting married just to be on bullshit is well, bullshit!

Yes, Christina will come up on a nice amount of cash, but I do believe that she was going after the white picket fence, happy marriage and kids... not the cash payout.

Everyone: Marriage takes work. If you don't want to make someone else your #1 priority... put in 150% each and every day... be faithful and committed - - marriage is NOT for you!

Fashion: 2009 Golden Globes

I'm watching the 2009 Golden Globes and reminded how nice it is to see Hollywood get dressed up and come out to eat, drink and network with their peers. Where do I sign up for that life?

Hayden Panettiere had great makeup. I don't think I'll ever get tired of the smokey eye / nude lip combo. It looks stunning on her. The hair pulled to the side and simple jewelry is right on the mark.

This photograph of Drew Barrymore's dress didn't do it any justice. On camera she had an amazing glow and bounce in her step. I thought that this was the perfect choice for her.

Demi Moore is an ageless beauty. Her dress was nice to me, but I was more impressed by the incredible shape Demi has maintained. She looked fantastic and her skin is like butter.

Eva Mendes is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. She's an underrated actress but she definitely stood out in this white gown. The huge bow would have overpowered most but she pulled this look off.

Beyonce! I'm so glad that she got her act together after rocking that hideous sweater dress/shawl combo at the "Notorious" premiere. Beyonce looked stunning in this dress. The cut is typical Beyonce but she holds her own on the red carpet. On a sidenote, I'm sure her and Jay-Z were all over this place networking and trying to finagle B into another film project!
