I've always been a fan of The Hills and Justin Bobby. He still has that sexy, bad boy, "kinda dirty and needs a shower to get the grease out of his hair" swag that I love!!

(insert angelic sound here)

Guess who's no longer living in the stone ages back in action? When I came home from work today I said a little prayer as I prepared to turn the key and voila - - I was met with a wall of warmth! The lights are back on... and along with the lights are the computer, tv, heat, fridge... everything that makes life so wonderful. I instantly started thanking God and doing my happy dance. After, I plopped down on the couch and rejoiced at the fact that my DVR had been in overdrive recording shows that I had missed this week! I feel like after a few days of roughing it, I'm back to my old self - - It's 12am and I'm blogging! Last night I was fast asleep! I'm once again a night owl! Thanks Com Ed...

The Hills - The season premiere was decent. They pretty much showed us everything that they'd been hyping up in the previews for the season which leaves me to wonder what else there is. I guess the only thing left to do is have Audrina hook up with Brody and Spencer apologize to LC (all of which is supposed to happen according to the teaser). We were able to see Heidi and LC's emotional moment at her surprise party. I honestly didn't think it was that serious. It seemed like LC was a little drunk and they were just doing the drunk, emotional thing. Spencer flirted with some bartender and ended up getting into a fight with his sister's ex-boyfriend because he sent Stephanie a text... which of course got back to Heidi. Don't all people flirt with the bartenders? What else... the next day LC, Audrina and Lo talked about what happened. *yawn* Heidi was pissed off at Spencer and hopped a flight back to Colorado to see her fam. *another yawn* I'm glad that The Hills is back on because MTV's previous Monday night snooze fest of The City and Daddy's Girls was making me contemplate ways to slit my wrists. I'm remaining hopeful that there's a little more spice to come this season.

The Hills

Everyone's favorite guilty pleasure is coming back this spring for it's 5th and final season on MTV. The trailer for Season 5 was just released and from the looks of it promises to be full of all the drama us "Hills" fans have come to love.

This will be a refreshing addition to the Monday night lineup on MTV which is in desperate need of something to revive it. Watching "The City" and "Daddy's Girls" can put you into a coma.

From The Hills... to The City... to The Hills again...oh my

Reality TV is my addiction and for the past 4 seasons "The Hills" has been my weekly fix. With the end in sight (I believe the finale is next week) there will undoubtedly be a huge void left. MTV has been working overtime to come up with shows to satisfy "The Hills" fans and some look promising (The City, Daddy's Girls) while others leave a lot to be desired (Bromance).

Whitney Port, a staple character of "The Hills" though not overly present will be continuing her story on "The City". The name is not original nor was Whitney an interesting/entertaining enough character to make me follow her story. I watched the preview and it seemed like this will be a decent show. I like the New York lifestyle...her job is amazing...but I am hoping that she'll grow more comfortable in front of the camera. Here's a preview:

Another show that I'm excited about is "Daddy's Girls" featuring Vanessa and Angela Simmons. It's nice for MTV to showcase young, black women that despite having well-off parents are making a name for themselves in the business world and having fun in the process. One thing I noticed is that it appears that MTV handed down the old apartment from "The Hills" that Lauren/Heidi/Audrina lived in to Angela and Vanessa...or maybe that's just the most popular building in LA...who knows! Joining the girls in LA is their cousin Jessica from New York as well as a neighbor Alyssia...or Alicia...(I don't know how she spells it). Be sure to check out the show premiering January 5th on MTV.

Bad boys always win...

There's something about his messy, disheveled borderline gothic rocker addict look that hits the spot for me. His sexiness seeps out of my TV screen every Monday night on MTV's "The Hills" and I've definitely been left wanting more. I did a little research to find out what else there was to this bad boy (besides being MTV eye candy) and here's the scoop:

- about 25 yo
- former hairstylist
-models (appeared in Vogue Italia earlier this year)

Yeah, not much...lol...but here are some pics...because really, I would be fine with him never speaking a word! lol...

*Gasp*

*Originally posted on 5/15/08 on my myspace blog*

It has been a while since a tv show has really surprised me or caught me off guard enough to let out a gasp. lol...well, Tuesday night's episode of Law and Order SVU managed to do just that. I have to say that I'm a complete nut over the show...which isn't hard to be with TNT playing reruns literally every hour...lol...but Benson, Stabler, Tutuola, Munch, Finn...lol...those are my people! Anyways, I was just really pleased with the episode, which I believe to have been the season finale. Will Finn go to prison? Will Casey get suspended for a year? Oh me...Oh my! lol...I'm on the edge of my seat...

In other TV news (yes, I've allowed tv to rot my brain...lol...)

1. I love Gossip Girl! Everyone should watch this show...it's like a more fashionable The OC...with better story lines.

2. The Hills is on my list of shows to catch...but I really wonder if there are NO black people that interact with any of the characters in their day to day life.

3. An interesting late night show (conan o'brien) that I managed to catch last night while at the gym actually surprised me! He's funny...and I think I may have to catch another episode...

4. Keeping up with the Kardashians! They have the cutest blended family and I really like this show. People can hate Kim if they'd like...but it's simply hating...she's beautiful, has a bomb ass body, money, a loving family, clothes for days, and a GORGEOUS boyfriend. lol...She really has all the ingredients to hate on. She should walk around with a sign up list because you know people don't like her...

5. Chelsea Handler - she's one of the few late night women on TV and she's hilarious. Watch her show, on E!, at least once and I promise that you'll be balling. lol...

6. Deadliest Catch - this comes on the discovery channel Tuesday nights and is a great, accurate account of what life is like as a fishermen on the Bering Sea. Don't count this show until you watch. I am HOOKED on crab legs and to actually see what all goes behind getting those delicious little creatures...it's intense...

Obviously the other shows that I'm obsessed with are The View, Oprah,Grey's Anatomy...and they need no introduction, explanation, or paragraph! lol...
