Litter Box Woes (Video)

Smudge, my 2 yo Russian Blue, uses the litter box 100% of the time... but only covers up his shit 50% of the time. I never know what little surprises will be waiting for me when I pass by the box... and I'm tired of living my life in that type of agony. I want to send him off to some feline finishing school to help him get his life together... and give me some peace of mind.

I think this is a male cat issue since Misty (my female tabby cat, also 2 yo) doesn't EVER do this. She's actually my little angel. For those with cats do you have any advice?

I made Kool-Aid for the First Time (video)

Before you judge me, know that I had a childhood and drank copious amounts of kool-aid, however, I never actually made it myself until last weekend.

I posted a picture on instagram and was instantly clowned by my friends for using a measuring cup... but let me just say, why "season to taste" when you know that your taste prefers 1.5cups? I mean, where's the logic in that... I made 3 batches and guess what, they yielded consistent AMAZEBALLS results each time. On top of that I knew the exact amount of sugar I was consuming.

Anyways, kool-aid is pretty freaking awesome. Sidebar: It's the perfect way to make use of filtered water that needs a new filter lol

Hotel Vlog #1

Who would have thought being 10 mins late to my gate would cause my day to be thrown off by12 hours. 3 flights and 1 emergency landing later I finally made it to Connecticut for my first official business trip! It's been forever since I had down time and the opportunity to be completely alone. I'm excited to be able to catch up on blogging and vlogging - - I even was able to crank out a video!!! My goal is to record each day this week... let's see how that goes. Am I reaching for the stars on that one? lol

Review: As I Am "Double Butter Cream"

I've been a busy bee over here cranking out my product reviews!!! I know it can seem a bit overwhelming to have so many hair posts coming out the same week, but these reviews were delayed as is, so please bear with me as I get them out :) Hopefully you're enjoying all of the wonderful feedback on the products I've tried.

On to the next one - - As I Am's Double Butter Cream!

This is a product that I was definitely on the fence about for the first few weeks I used it. I actually just became a huge fan of it the last 2-3 weeks when it dawned on me what consistent, amazing results it was giving me. As someone that loves the look of stretched out, fluffed out hair, my blow dryer is typically my best friend. I have no qualms about using my concentration nozzle and diffuser to create the looks I love... but the best thing about the As I Am Double Butter Cream was that it not only moisturized my hair, but it gave little to no shrinkage!!!

I was blown away that my twist-out was defined, stretched, and required just a bit of fluffing! Being able to skip an entire step is enough to make me buy this product again.

It's available on CurlMart.com for $15.50 which is rather steep for an 8oz jar... but we pay for the products that consistently give the results we like! I'm about 75% sure I'll be replacing this stuff. Also, Amazon has the 16 oz jar for under $30.

Check out my video for a full review (my hair was in a twist-out using the double butter cream!! )

Did I buy that?

This past weekend consisted of TOO much impulse buying on my part. It felt like every product was screaming my name and yearning to be saved from the shelves of whatever store and placed in my bag. Sephora, Ulta and Target were NOT safe from my hands. Instead of including generic photos and a description I decided to give vlogging a try. This is my first attempt at is so please forgive the length of the video and my randomness, but I really liked it! I think I'll be adding more vlogs into my blog posts in the future.
