I have a love/hate relationship with the Chicago Police Department...primarily the ticket happy cops in District 1. One side of the street will be permit only...the other side 4 hr parking from 8a-6p, then another side has street cleaning from 9a-3p...and all sides are fucked on game days or soldier field events 2 hours before and 1 hour after (
which you hardly EVER know are going on until you look out of your window and notice the cluster fuck of people parking and realize you already have a ticket on your car....Do I sound slightly bitter?? lol)
Nevertheless, I was walking to the bus stop the other day and got to see the District 1 cops doing what they do best - - zooming around on their 4-wheelers and writing tickets! Is anyone else a part of the Chicago Parking Ticket club? Here's my contribution...
